Found: the "perfect" diamond - all 3 carats!
Blinding white sparkle AND amazing finger coverage! I wonder which woman will be lucky enough to wear this 1cmx1cm diamond everyday? How much does it cost, I hear you ask. If you have to ask, it's likely too much! (In case you're genuinely curious, it can be yours for a cool $380k).
Just like wearing a house on your ring finger!

Cute as a button!
I just came across this adorable pair of matching rubies. They would make really cute earrings to spoil yourself or to buy for a special someone. These rubies come from Tanzania and are all natural - no heat treatment to get the lovely rich red colour.
Their specs are:
Ruby #1 is 0.55 carats, vivid colour, VVS1 clarity
Ruby #2 is 0.61 carats, vivid colour, VS2 clarity
Best of all, they can be yours for less than $1,500 (rubies only)!

My budget is $2000 - what can I get for that?
Many people claim that it is "tradition" for a man to spend two to three months salary on his partner's engagement ring. In today's terms, that equals to a lot of money for most of us. For those of us who don't have $10k+ to spend on a piece of jewellery, below are some ideas of what $2000 can buy you.
Above: 18 karat white gold Tiffany-inspired four prong setting with 0.72 princess cut diamond, G colour, VS2, triple excellent cut (AGS 000)
Above: 18 karat white gold nine stone wedding band with 1.03 total carat weight of diamonds
Above: 18 karat gold band with pave diamonds (0.25 total carat weight) and 0.75 carat pear diamond
